Jon Lester (L), Philip Humber (L)

After falling last night, the Boston Red Sox look to pick up what seems to be a rare win against the Chicago White Sox tonight at U.S. Cellular Field in game two of a three-game set.

Tonight’s first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. and the game will be broadcast in the Red Sox television market on NESN. If you live in the White Sox television market, you can watch the game on WGN. And if you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to the game on the 2011 Red Sox Radio Network.

Jon Lester makes just his second start since returning from the disabled list before his last start. In 19 starts this season, Lester is 10-4 with a 3.23. He was roughed in his only appearance against the White Sox this season when he allowed seven runs in 5.2 innings to take the loss back on May 30th. He’s made six career starts against the South Siders and is 2-3 with a 5.94 ERA. For of those starts have come on the South Side where he is 2-2 with a 5.25 ERA.

Philip Humber looks to keep the White Sox’s success against the Red Sox in his 18th start of 2011 for Ozzie Guillen. In his previous 17 starts, he is 8-6 with a 3.27 ERA. He picked up the win against the Red Sox on May 31st when he allowed four runs in 7.2 innings. That start on May 31st marks his only career appearance against the Red Sox and that came at Historic Fenway Park.
