After falling 8-6 in 10 innings last night, the Boston Red Sox look to get back in track tonight the middle game of a three-game set with the Baltimore Orioles at Historic Fenway Park.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Orioles television market, you can catch the game on MASN. If you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to it on the Red Sox radio network.
Josh Beckett looks to even up his record in his 11th start of 2012. In his previous 10 starts, Beckett is 4-5 with a 4.26 ERA. He has not faced the Orioles in 2012 and was 1-2 with a 7.03 ERA in four starts against them in 2011. Beckett has made 18 career starts against the Orioles and is 7-5 with a 4.25 ERA.
Wei-Yin Chen makes his 11th start of the season and his career tonight for the Orioles. In his previous 10 starts, Chen is 4-2 with a 3.75 ERA. His only career start against the local nine came at the Fens back on May 4th. In that start, Chen picked up a no decision after allowing four runs (three earned) in five innings of work.
