After falling last night, the Boston Red Sox look to win the series in game three of a three-game set with the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
First pitch is scheduled for 12:37 p.m. and the game will be broadcast in the Red Sox television market on NESN. If you live in the Blue Jays television market, you can catch the game on Rogers SportsNet. If you don’t live in either market, you’re in luck as the MLB Network will have coverage of the game as well. If you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to it on the Red Sox radio network.
Jon Lester makes his second start of 2012 this afternoon. Lester picked up a no decision in his first start on Opening Day after allowing one run in seven innings work. He made five starts against the Blue Jays in 2011 and was 3-0 with a 2.08 ERA. Lester has made 18 career starts and is 10-4 with a 3.06 ERA. 11 of those starts have come at the Rogers Centre where he is 6-3 with a 3.33 ERA.
Ricky Romero is also making his second start of 2012. He picked up a no decision on Opening Day after allowing four runs in five innings against the Cleveland Indians. Romero made four starts against the Red Sox in 2011 and was 2-2 with a 6.56 ERA. He’s made 13 career starts against the Red Sox is 4-6 with a 7.12 ERA.
