The Boston Red Sox made another round of roster moves on Sunday morning as outfielder Daniel Nava and catcher Mark Wagner were optioned to the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox. Reliever Matt Fox was also reassigned to minor league camp.
Nava had a rough spring training at the plate as he hit .205 with no home runs and three RBIs in 19 games. Wagner appeared in just nine games and hit .167 with one home run and two RBIs.
Fox made five appearances during spring training and had no record with a 2.57 ERA and one save. He allowed seven hits in seven innings with nine strikeouts and five walks.
