The 2011 MLB Draft resumed on Tuesday afternoon as rounds two through 30 took place. As you might expect, the Boston Red Sox were busy trying to restock their minor league system.
Here’s a list of the players they drafted in rounds 16 through 30:

- Rd 17 – Blake Forslund, RHP, Liberty University
- Rd 18 – Andrew Jones, RHP, Samford University (GA)
- Rd 19- Jeffrey Orvis, 1B, high school
- Rd 20 – Zachary Good, LHP, Grayson County College
- Rd 21 – Austin Davidson, IF, high school
- Rd 22 – Joseph Holtmeyer, RHP, Nebraska – Omaha
- Rd 23 – Jarrett Brown, LHP, high school
- Rd 24 – Andrew Turocy, CF, Akron
- Rd 25 – Taylor Ard, 1B, Washington State
- Rd 26 – Cody Dill, RHP, high school
- Rd 27 – Alex Massey, RHP, high school
- Rd 28 – Brenden Shepard, RHP, Stonehill College
- Rd 29 – Matthew Spalding, RHP, high school
- Rd 30 – Nick Moore, 3B, high school
Rounds 30-50 will begin at 12 p.m. on Wednesday and will conclude the 2011 MLB Draft.
