Obviously a great win for the UConn Huskies men’s basketball team but all eyes are on the health of head coach Jim Calhoun. According to John Barr of ESPN, Calhoun is still in the hospital and will be reevaluated later this morning. He did say Calhoun was listed in good condition. The Huskies will be holding a practice this afternoon around 2. SportsCenter is expected to show the Huskies press conference. And if you hadn’t heard, the Huskies will play Texas A&M at 3:30 PM. Dick Enberg and Jay Bilas will have the call on CBS HD.
UPDATE 10:19 AM: John Barr of ESPN is now reporting that Jim Calhoun has been released from the hospital and now has been given a clean bill of health. He is back at the hotel and eating breakfast with the team. It’s not known whether or not he’ll be at practice today. UConn’s media availability will start at 2:45 PM and it’s still expected to be shown on SportsCenter at that time
