Sox & Dawgs Presents Paw Prints

The Huskies have cracked the BCS top 25 this week but haven’t gotten into the top 25 in either the AP Poll or the USA Today Poll.

Here is a look at the Big East standings. The big surprise right now is that UConn is leading it after two games. It’s still early as they still have five Big East games left with #11/12 South Florida coming into Rentschler Field this Saturday.

The Big East Conference is planning to reprimand the officials for blowing the call in which UConn‘s Larry Taylor apparently waved for a fair catch. If you haven’t seen that the video is right here:

In case you weren’t at the game being a drowned rat, you missed a heck of a comeback by the Huskies. I was a little upset seeing the students throw stuff on the field when Darius Butler apparently recovered a fumble at the Louisville 1-yard line. If you are the “best student section in the country” then show some class and act like it. Here’s the highlight video of the game from Jared Nuss:

And because your slack leader here (me) didn’t think to look on Youtube for UConn‘s loss to Virginia, here is a look at those as well. Of course it was added three days ago so I don’t feel so bad now. Here it is:
