As you may have seen by now, the Boston Red Sox retired Johnny Pesky’s No. 6 today at Fenway Park. It was a fitting ceremony with a look back at the life and playing career of Pesky along with some words from some former players including Dom DiMaggio, Bobby Doerr, Nomar Garciaparra and Curt Schilling.
