According to Scott Boras, there is nothing physically wrong with J.D. Drew’s surgically repaired right shoulder.
“J.D. is healthy. We’ve had noted experts that have demonstrated that he’s without any condition that would effect him over the five years of the contract.”
I doubt the Red Sox will take Boras’ word for it given the fact he is a SPORTS AGENT (who aren’t exactly the most honest people you’ll meet). Hopefully, the second opinion the Red Sox had Drew go for confirms what Boras says and him and the Red Sox will get this deal done in time for Christmas.
