The Boston Red Sox look to end their 10-game road trip this afternoon with a sweep of the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit.

The game this afternoon will start at 1:05 PM EDT and will be televised in the Red Sox television market on NESN. If you live in the Tigers television market, you can catch the game on FOX Sports Detroit. And if the television isn’t your cup of tea, you can catch the game on one of the many affiliates of the Red Sox Radio Network.

Tim Wakefield looks to put together a good outing for Terry Francona this afternoon to help the Red Sox to a sweep. On the season, Wake is 6-3 with a 4.55 ERA in 10 starts. He was 2-0 with 0.69 ERA in two starts in 2008 against the Tigers and is 15-10 with a 4.20 ERA in 34 games (22 starts) in his career. In 15 games (10 starts) in Detroit, Wake is 5-5 with 5.52 ERA.

Dontrelle Willis makes just his 5th start in 2009 and he is 1-2 with a 5.56 ERA. He has faced the Red Sox once in his career and that start came as a member of the Florida Marlins. In that game back on June 30 2006 in Miami, he went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits to pick up the win.
