Boston Red Sox's Jason Bay, right, gets a hand slap from third base coach DeMarlo Hale after hitting a two-run home run against the Los Angeles Angels in the first inning of a baseball game in Anaheim, Calif. , Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - AP PhotoIt looks like Boston Red Sox skipper Terry Francona’s staff is all finalized.

According to Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe, third base coach DeMarlo Hale will shift to the dugout and take over as bench coach. Brad Mills, who was hired away by the Houston Astros as their manager, had been Francona’s bench coach since 2004.

First base coach Tim Bogar will shift over to third base coach and as we learned on Saturday, Pawtucket Red Sox manager Ron Johnson will be promoted and take over as the first base coach. Pitching coach John Farrell, hitting coach Dave Magadan and bullpen coach Gary Tuck will also return.

Rob Leary has also been named Major League coaching staff assistant.

One of Leary’s big jobs will be organizing the spring training workouts. Mills had done that previously for Francona.
