Clay Buchholz may not be getting any love from the Boston Red Sox right now but the Pawtucket Red Sox fans have been showing him the love all season long. Now he’ll get a chance to represent Pawtucket and the Red Sox in the Triple-A All-Star Game.

They will be part of the International League team that will take on the Pacific Coast League All-Star Team on July 15th in Portland, Oregon.

Buchholz received the most fan votes of all Triple-A players. He’s having a stellar season down in Pawtucket as he is 5-1 with a 1.90 ERA. If the weather holds up tonight, he’ll be on the mound for the PawSox at McCoy Stadium.

Cabrera is tied for the International League lead in saves with 16 with Norfolk’s Jim Miller.
