Well it's not another Big East Freshman of the Week honor but it's still recognition nonetheless.

The Big East announced on Monday that UConn Huskies freshman sensation Breanna Stewart has been to named to the Big East Weekly Honor Roll in women's basketball.

The University of Connecticut's Breanna Stewart shoots over Purdue's Sam Ostarello at the Paradise Jam Saturday night. Stewart averaged 19 points, 6.7 rebounds and had seven blocks and four assists to help the Huskies to the 2012 Women's Paradise Jam title.

In the opener against Wake Forest, she had 20 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots. Against Marist in the second game, she picked up her first career double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds along with one blocked shot.

On Sunday in the championship game against the Purdue Boilermakers, Stewart had 17 points, four rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots. She was named the 2012 Women's Paradise Jam Tournament MVP for her efforts.

Stewart and the rest of her Huskies squad are back in action on Wednesday night when they'll host the Colgate Raiders at the XL Center at 7 p.m.
