There’s nothing like being all pumped up for opening day of the Boston Red Sox only to have Mother Nature take it away. Well that’s what we had yesterday as some rain came through the area forcing the Red Sox to cancel the season opener against the Tampa Bay Rays.
The two teams will try it again today as the weather does look like it will cooperate. There may be a few showers rolling through the Fenway Park area as the game goes on though but I don’t think it will be anything that will ruin opening day, only a loss to the Rays would do that.
