After enjoying the day off on Monday after a 2-4 west coast swing, the Boston Red Sox will entertain the first place Toronto Blue Jays for three games.

The game tonight will start at 7:10 PM EDT and will be televised in the Red Sox television market on NESN. If you live in the Blue Jays television market, you can catch the game on TSN2. And if the television isn’t your cup of tea, you can catch the game on one of the many affiliates of the Red Sox Radio Network.

After putting together a nice little run of starts, Tim Wakefield was roughed up in his last outing against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. On the season, Wake is 4-2 with a 4.03 ERA. He has faced the Blue Jays 48 times (38 starts) and is 16-11 with a 3.76 ERA.

Cito Gaston will look to Brian Tallet to keep the Jays momentum going. Tallet is 2-1 with a 4.68 ERA in 10 appearances (6 starts). He has made 16 career appearances (1 start) against the Red Sox and is 1-1 with a 4.22 ERA. His lone start against the Red Sox came in 2002 as a member of the Cleveland Indians where he went 6 scoreless innings to pick up the win in his Major League debut.
