With the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers completing their big megadeal on Saturday afternoon, we need to look back at the 2012 Opening Day roster for the Red Sox.
Yes we know rosters change rather quickly during the season but when all is said and done, 12 of the 25 players on the Opening Day roster for the Red Sox are either on the DL, traded, in the minors or claimed on waivers by another team.
