Boston Red SoxThe bad news is the fact that the Boston Red Sox game tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays is postponed due to rain. The good news is since they aren’t playing, they can’t lose tonight.

No makeup date has been announced just yet nor details of what Red Sox skipper Terry Francona is planning to do with the rotation. Once those are announced we’ll update the post.

Update 5:00 p.m.: According to Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald,  John Lackey will have his next start pushed back to Tuesday night against the Oakland A’s in Oakland, CA.
