The Big East held it’s women’s basketball media day on Thursday and the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team has been selected to win the Big East by the coaches.
The Huskies received 12 of the 15 first place votes with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish getting the other three.
Freshman Breanna Stewart was selected as the Big East Preseason Freshman of the Year. Stefanie Dolson, Bria Hartley and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis were picked to the Preseason All-Big East First Team.
