The Boston Red Sox look for their fourth straight win as well as their third straight road victory in game three of a four-game set with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim tonight at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
First pitch for tonight’s game is scheduled for 9:05 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NESN Plus in the Red Sox television market. The game will switch over to NESN once the Boston Bruins playoff game is over. If you live in the Angels television market, the game will be broadcast on FOXSports West. Daisuke Matsuzaka looks to build off his strong outing his last time on the bump. In three starts, Dice-K is 1-2 with a 6.43 ERA. He made one start against the Halos in 2010 picking up the win back on May 10th after allowing five runs in 5.1 innings of work. He’s made three career starts, all of them at Fenway Park, against the Angels and is 2-1 with a 6.06 ERA.
Ervin Santana makes his fifth start of 2011 and will be looking for his first win since September 21, 2010. In his four starts, he is 0-2 with a 5.26 ERA. He made two starts against the Red Sox in 2010 and was 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA. He’s made eight career starts against the Red Sox and is 2-2 with a 4.31 ERA.
