According to John Altavilla of the Hartford Courant, the two-time defending NCAA women’s basketball champions, the UConn Huskies, will take on the Franklin Pierce Ravens and the Indiana University (PA) Crimson Hawks. No word on who they’ll be playing at Gampel or the XL Center as in the past they’ve played one exhibition game at each venue.
Franklin Pierce is coming off a 32-2 season that saw them lose in the Division II Final Four to the Fort Lewis Skyhawks. IUP finished up their 2009-10 season at 17-10.
