Josh Beckett pitched his heart out again and the end result was a win for the Red Sox. It was Beckett’s 14th win of the season, tying him with C.C. Sabathia, John Lackey and Carlos Zambrano for the most in MLB. The game wasn’t without incident though as the Mariner Moose almost killed our centerfielder, Coco Crisp. Luckily, Coco wasn’t hurt and the Red Sox made the M’s pay for this with their bats as they added some insurance runs late. Not they need them with this most excellent bullpen. But before Curt Schilling takes the mound in Anaheim tonight, let’s take a look at the headlines and happenings from the Boston area and Seattle media on this overcast morning in RSN.
