Did the long trip and game on Monday night take it’s toll on the Red Sox last night? I think so because Lenny DiNardo was throwing batting practice to the Red Sox and all they could manage was 2 hits off of him. He induced 4 double plays to get himself out of trouble. As Peter, from Peter’s Red Sox Forever, points out in a comment, this isn’t the June swoon. I sure hope not because it’s been fun to watch so far this season.
With that being said, let’s take a look at what the mainstream Boston and Oakland area media has to say about the game and other happenings.
