Big Papi’s contract called for him to autograph 13,000 items, appear at events and remain exclusive to Steiner Sports. According to the lawsuit, they are claiming that Ortiz violated his contract by signing items for at least 4 other companies. Steiner Sports is asking for $1 million dollars plus interest. They also want to know how much money he made from the other 4 companies.
