As we learned last week, the Annual Husky Run will take place next Thursday on campus in Storrs, CT. Today, UConn made it official.
STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut men’s basketball program will host the annual Husky Run on Thursday, October 11, beginning at 2:30 p.m. The Husky Run is open to the public and symbolizes the start of preseason activities for the men’s basketball program, leading up to First Night on Friday, October 12.
Fans can register from 1:30-2:30 p.m. outside of the east entrance of Gampel Pavilion. The event is a 3.4-mile run around campus that begins and ends at Gampel Pavilion.
All runners will receive a FREE T-SHIRT and FREE FOOD after the race. The person who wins this year’s Husky Run will receive a UConn Nike sweat suit.
