Do you remember a few weeks ago when I wrote that on Monday things always seem clearer from Sunday’s game? I hate to tell you I think I lied.
I still just can not wrap my head around what I saw, I may complain to CBS because I think they showed me a team different from the New England Patriots.
The offensive line sucked, the running game was ehh, the passing game look hurried and out of synch, the defensive backs were just brutal and the special teams melted down.
The only redeeming value was believe it or not the defensive line that notched 5 sacks on Ben Roethlisberger and had several other hits or hurries.
Now the team as a whole needs to show they don’t really suck as bad as they played on Sunday and get it together in time for back-to-back games against the new York Giants (home) and New York Jets (road).
While I spend the week clearing my head of the remaining pieces of that disaster from Sunday here’s some news nuggets for you. They’re way better than the McRib.
