Pardon my French here but I just have to say that I’m sick of all the he said, she said bullshit that’s coming out of the Boston Red Sox organization right now.

Boston Red SoxWe learned earlier in the week that some anonymous sources in the Red Sox front office had leaked the personal information about former skipper Terry Francona. And with the Boston media having a field day with it, Red Sox owner John Henry decided to take matters into his own hands by showing up on the show hosted by Tony Massarotti and Michael Felger on 98.5 The Sports Hub on Friday.

The gist of what I want to talk about here is the fact that Henry said anything personal that came out on Tito didn’t come from the owners. Well obviously it came from somewhere in that organization and it’s what Henry said that bothers me.

He doesn’t plan on finding out who said it.

“It seems like there’s nothing that doesn’t get out in sports,” said Henry. “When it comes to who’s giving personal information from the Red Sox, you can’t really go on a witch hunt and start accusing people.”

Again, that’s a bullshit excuse.

If you’re a free agent or even the next manager of the Red So,why on God’s green earth would you even want to come here when you know if there’s anything going on in your personal life that someone in the Red Sox organization is going to betray you and leak the information anyways.

Even though I had been away the past month, then traveling and recovering from the jet lag, I’ve been pretty quiet about things going on with the Red Sox. I broached the subject of what was said about Tito but haven’t said anything about Theo Epstein’s departure to the Chicago Cubs.

The main reason for that is the fact that it’s not official yet. They are still trying to figure out the compensation.

The main reason though as to why I’ve been quiet is the fact that I’ve lost respect for the Red Sox organization as a whole. I’m guessing I’m not the only one out there who thinks that. There’s really no sense in me wasting my time talking about them when it was obvious a good portion of them didn’t care the last few weeks.

So I’ll leave you with these parting words.

If you’re planning on having a party, make sure you have some fried chicken and beer on hand. That way, the Red Sox pitchers might want to join you.
