Most undermatched teams will sometimes try to play man-to-man defense on the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team. Some will play a zone to try and slow them down.

Well the Towson Tigers had no answers for the outside game of the Huskies as UConn went on to an easy 92-31 win in front of 7,703 at the XL Center in Hartford, CT on Wednesday night.

They did with the three pointer as KML hit three during the stretch as well Hayes hit one as well.

UConn had gone to the inside early on but then struggled in their offense for a few plays. But once the outside game got going, Towson really had no answers for the Huskies.

But for most teams that play UConn, it’s good experience as they get ready for conference play. For Geno Auriemma’s Huskies, it’s a chance to work on their offense and defense as they prepare for league play and two tough upcoming non-conference matchups with Texas A&M and Baylor.

The first of those will come December 6th when they’ll host the Texas A&M Aggies in the Jimmy V Classic at the XL Center at 7 p.m.
