If a player isn’t signed by tomorrow’s deadline, the team holding his rights loses said rights and the player will go back to school or head to college and then is eligible to be drafted if he will be a college junior this year. The team losing a player’s rights will be compensated in next year’s draft with a compensatory draft pick.
