Jacoby Ellsbury

During the last two games of the ALCS and all of the World Series, a new hero emerged in Red Sox Nation and his name is Jacoby Ellsbury. We all know his exploits from when he burst on to the scene back in late June. We all know what his finals stats were in 33 games this season in Boston. We all know he can play defensively.

With Ellsbury emerging in the Sox outfield, one move you will see Theo Epstein make is trading Coco Crisp. With Ellsbury ready for primetime, there is really not a need for Coco in the outfield anymore. It’s unfortunate too, I liked the way Coco played in the outfield. If Coco hadn’t have gotten hurt to start last season, maybe things would be different.

But as the future comes, we know that we will not be losing anything with Ellsbury.
