We’ve all been wondering and speculating as to what’s been wrong with NESN announcer Jerry Remy and now we know. He had cancer surgery during the offseason.

Dennis Eckersley will finish out the homestand in the booth for RemDawg and then Dave Roberts will join Don Orsillo in the NESN booth during the upcoming west coast road trip. It’s not known who’ll take over when they return from the trip.
