It’s the Halloween edition of the Red Sox News & Notes on day 3 of the offseason. Curt Schilling, Eric Hinske, Matt Clement and Bobby Kielty all filed for free agency yesterday. Schilling explained in a post over at 38 Pitches that this is his first time facing free agency in his career and listed his teams he would have interest in after the Red Sox.
If you haven’t seen any of the videos from yesterday’s Rolling Rally, I have three of them that you can watch right here on Sox & Dawgs (Papelbon Dance 1, Papelbon Dance 2, Papelbon Dance 3). So after watching the three video, be sure to check out what the local scribes are writing in today’s Boston area papers as well as what Schilling has to say about free agency.
