The fine folks over at Movies.com have a pretty interesting feature, “You Oughta Be in Pictures” that debuted on Monday night. They took a look at 25 celebrities and political figures, including 7 athletes. Those athletes are everyone’s favorite QB, Tom Brady, soccer’s favorite Spice husband, David Beckham, American tennis stud, Andy Roddick, Miami Heat star guard, Dwayne Wade, racing hottie, Danica Patrick, ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and WWE hottie, Stacy Keibler, and the grunting tennis beauty, Maria Sharapova.

Here is a look at Tom Brady’s “You Oughta Be in Pictures” profile.

Tom Brady

Tom Brady

In real life: He’s the Super Bowl-winning quarterback of the New England Patriots.
Why he oughta be in pictures: He’s been pretty high-profile since high school (he went to the same one as MLB star Barry Bonds), winning an Orange Bowl and three Super Bowls, a Movado watch ad and a GQ cover — and he’s even hinted at having political aspirations. Yet his squeaky-clean image belies a sense of humor — he’s hosted Saturday Night Live, made cameos on The Simpsons and Family Guy and had a bit part in Stuck on You. Plus, serious skills making passes at the ladies … though he’s currently dating Leonardo DiCaprio’s leftovers (supermodel Gisele Bündchen), he’s an expectant babydaddy with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan.
He oughta be in a remake of … The Longest Yard. (used with permission from Movies.com)Surprisingly enough, no athletes were in their “Please Don’t Go Into Pictures” profiles.

A very good feature done by the movies.com people. I am sure that we can all think of other athletes that we want to see in movies or don’t want to see. Honestly, I hope Shaq keeps to playing basketball or arresting bad guys because after ‘Blue Chips’, his acting career went down hill.
