On Saturday afternoon in El Paso, Texas, UConn Huskies seniors Dahna Deleston and Julius Williams participated in the Texas vs The Nation Game.
The pair spent the week in El Paso showing the NFL scouts what they can bring to a team. Their week culminated with the game on Saturday that was won by the Nation team 27-24.
Williams got the start at defensive end and had 4 tackles in the game. Deleston, who played safety at UConn, had 4 tackles from the outside linebacker position.
The two seniors weren’t asked to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine but will have a chance to show their stuff to the NFL scouts when UConn holds it’s Pro Day.
As of right now, neither one is projected to be drafted but it’s quite possible they both could receive free agent contracts after the draft is over.
