NEW YORK, November 10, 2014 – New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the team has recalled forward Jesper Fast from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). The team has also assigned defenseman Conor Allen and forward Ryan Malone to Hartford.

Fast, 22, has registered one goal and eight assists for nine points in 11 games with Hartford since he joined the team on October 17. Fast has tallied a point in seven of his last eight games with the Wolf Pack, and had posted a six-game point streak (one goal, six assists over the span) prior to being recalled.

Fast is tied for 10th in the AHL in assists (eight) this season. He is also tied for the team lead in assists and is tied for third on the Wolf Pack in points (nine) in 2014-15.

The 6-0, 185-pounder has skated in three games with the Rangers this season, recording three shots on goal and two blocked shots.

Allen was credited with six hits and recorded two shots on goal in four games with the Rangers after being recalled on November 2. Prior to being recalled by the Rangers, Allen had recorded two goals and three assists for five points in eight games with the Wolf Pack this season. He was tied for third on Hartford in goals and was tied for fifth on the team in assists and points at the time he was recalled.

Malone has recorded six shots on goal and has been credited with 14 hits in six games with the Rangers this season.
