The 2012 Golden Globes were held on Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. They were broadcast on NBC and hosted by Ricky Gervais, who was a little tamer than last year.
Showtime had eight nominations and took home four wins, including two wins for Homeland (best drama and Claire Danes as best actress in a drama). Matt Leblanc also won best actor in a comedy for Episodes and Kelsey Grammar won best actor in a drama for Boss.
On the movie side of things, The Artist came in with six nominations and came away with two wins including best motion picture (comedy or musical) and best actor in a comedy or musical for Jean Dujardin. The Descendants had five nominations and came away with two wins (best motion picture drama and George Clooney – best actor in a drama).
