The latest NCAA football polls are out and the Alabama Crimson Tide are the unanimous No. 1 team in the land. The question remains though whether or not they’ll be the No. 1 team when the first BCS Poll is announced on Sunday night.
They are followed by the Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, Kansas State Wildcats and Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the AP Poll. In the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, the Crimson Tide are followed by Oregon, Kansas State, Florida and Notre Dame.
Once again, there are three teams from the Big East ranked amongst the top 25 in both polls. They are the Louisville Cardinals (16,14), Rutgers Scarlet Knights (19,17) and the Cincinnati Bearcats (21,18).
There are no teams from the Big East among the others receiving votes in either poll.
