The NCAA football rankings are out and the Alabama Crimson Tide remain the No. 1 team in the land after a rather convincing win over my brother’s alma mater Florida Atlantic.
The Oregon Ducks leapfrogged the LSU Tigers to be No. 2 with LSU going to No. 3 in both polls and are followed by the Florida State Seminoles and Georgia Bulldogs.
For the first time in what seems like years, the Big East has two teams ranked in the top 25 of both polls. The Louisville Cardinals are No. 19/17 while the Rutgers Scarlet Knights are No. 23/25.
The Cincinnati Bearcats are the only team from the Big East among the others receiving votes in both polls.
