The NCAA football rankings are out and after another wild weekend of upsets, we have a new No. 1 team in the land.
With both the Oregon Ducks and Kansas State Wildcats falling on Saturday night, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (yup, just threw up in my mouth) are the No. 1 team in both polls.
They are followed by the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, The Ohio State Buckeyes and Oregon Ducks in the AP Poll. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, they are followed by Alabama, Georgia, Oregon and the Florida State Seminoles.
There are still two teams from the Big East ranked in the top 25 of both polls. They are the Louisville Cardinals (18/19) and Rutgers Scarlet Knights (21/19).
The Cincinnati Bearcats are among the others receiving votes in the Coaches Poll.
