Leben stepped in at the last minute after Wanderlei Silva had to withdraw from the match with an injury. Leben had just beat Aaron Simpson by TKO during The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs Team Ortiz Finale back on June 19th.

During the Strikeforce event at HP Pavilion in San Jose, Fabricio Werdum submitted Fedor Emelianenko with a triangle choke/armbar at 1:32 of the first round.
Werdum should get a heavyweight title shot against Alistair Overeem but he said he’d like to give Fedor a rematch first.
