After winning 4-1 in a rain-shortened contest last night, the Boston Red Sox look for the sweep tonight in the finale of a three-game set with the Detroit Tigers at historic Fenway Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. and will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Tigers television market, you can catch the game on FOX Sports Detroit. And if you don’t live in either market you’re in luck as ESPN will have coverage of the game (not in Red Sox and Tigers television markets). You can also catch the game online at ESPN3.com or with the WatchESPN app. If you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to it on the Red Sox radio network.

Aaron Cook looks to keep the Red Sox rolling in his eighth start of 2012. In his previous seven starts, Cook is 2-4 with a 4.50 ERA. He has not faced the Tigers this season. His lone career start against the Tigers came last season as a member of the Colorado Rockies when he took the loss after allowing four runs in six innings of work.

Rick Porcello looks to help the Tigers avoid the sweep in his 21st of 2012. In his previous 20 starts, Porcello is 7-6 with a 4.56 ERA. He hasn’t faced the Red Sox this season and took the loss in his only start of 2011 after allowing six runs in three innings of work. He hasn’t had much success in his career against the Red Sox as he is 0-2 with a 10.80 ERA (10 ER/8.1 IP) in three starts. His lone career start at the Fens lasted one inning after he was ejected during a fight with Kevin Youkilis.
