Red Sox in the WBC news and links after the jump.

There’s not much to report on the Sox players in the WBC as Javier Lopez didn’t see any action in Puerto Rico’s 2-0 loss to Venezuela. Next up for Lopez and Puerto Rico is a matchup with Kevin Youkilis and Team USA to see who goes to the semifinals of the WBC. That game is tonight at 7 PM and will be shown live on the MLB Network.
