David Price of the Tampa  Bay Rays was second and Colby Rasmus of the St. Louis Cardinals was third.

For the Boston Red Sox, Lars Anderson was listed as the top prospect coming in at No. 17 overall. Also joining Anderson on the list were Michael Bowden (83) and Daniel Bard (98).
