Joe Saunders shut down the Red Sox for the second time this season yesterday and was pretty dominating throughout. We had bench-clearing incident with no punches thrown due to Yo-Yo hitting Orlando Cabrera. And we had the return of Eric Gagné to the scene of the crime. All told it wasn’t pretty for the Sox yesterday. Looming now is a 11-day 10-game roadtrip that ends in the Bronx for the games. It’s hard not to look ahead but I’d like to see the Sox go at least 5-2 before getting to NY.
