After a 11 day layoff for final exams, the UCONN Lady Huskies returned to the court and defeated the University of Virginia Lady Cavaliers by the final score of 96-60. UCONN was led by Kalana Greene and Renee Montgomery, who scored 21 pts and 17 pts respectively.
Tina Charles added 12 pts, 7 rebounds and 6 blocked shots. Mel Thomas had 8 pts in the game. The Lady Huskies shot an amazing 66% (42-64) from the field during the game.
