UConn Huskies point guard A.J. Price was named the Big East Player of the Week for the week-ending 12/21.
He helped lead the Huskies to two wins last week including hitting a clutch 3-pointer to force overtime in the win against Gonzaga on Saturday. He had 24 points and 10 assists on Saturday and earlier in the week had 13 points and 5 assists in the win over Stony Brook.
Price and the Huskies return to action on December 26th when they play the Fairfield Stags at the XL Center in Hartford, CT.
