The Boston Red Sox were busy on Saturday afternoon as they played with a split-squad against the Tampa Bay Rays on the road and the Minnesota Twins at City of Palms Park.

John Lackey made his Red Sox spring training debut against the Twins and was perfect for 2 innings in a game won by the Red Sox 9-3. Tug Hulett knocked in three runs with a 3-run homer and Gil Velazquez added two RBIs as well. Mike Cameron, Angel Sanchez, Gustavo Molina and Aaron Bates had the other RBIs.

Felix Doubront was impressive for the Red Sox in their 6-4 loss to the Rays. He went two innings, walking one and striking out three. Adrian Beltre, Josh Reddick and Brett Harper had the RBIs for the Red Sox.

Today, the Red Sox are in Sarasota to take on the Baltimore Orioles. The game is scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m. and will be televised on the MLB Network and MLB.tv. The game is also being broadcast on WEEI 850 AM and is also available on MLB.com if you have the MLB.tv package or you are a member of Red Sox Nation. It’s also available to listen to on the MLB At Bat app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Clay Buchholz will make the start for the Red Sox and he’ll be followed by Boof Bonser, Daniel Bard, Scott Atchison, Casey Kelly and Robert Manuel. For Kelly, it will be a chance to pitch in his hometown of Sarasota.

Jeremy Guthrie will make the start for the Orioles and he’ll be followed by Mark Hendrickson, Kam Mickolio, David Hernandez and Will Ohman.
