Emmy AwardThe 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday morning by Community’s Joel McHale and Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara and we find HBO’s “The Pacific” leading the way with a total of 24 nominations.

The new FOX hit, “Glee” came in second with a total of 19 nominations while AMC’s big hit “Mad Men” garnered 17 nominations.

To me the biggest snub of the entire nomination process was Zach Gilford from “Friday Night Lights”. While the show got four nominations, Gilford was not picked for the supporting actor or guest actor in a drama series. While the episode “The Son” was nominated, he wasn’t. And it’s a crying shame.
