STORRS, Conn. – A pep rally will take place on Thursday, August 28 to get the entire University community psyched up for the opening football game the next day against BYU at Rentschler Field.
The rally will take place starting at 6:30 p.m. on the Storrs campus at the top of Fairfield Way – across Hillside Road from the Husky Dog Statue.
The team and head coach Bob Diaco walk from The Burton Family Football Complex to the pep rally location and arrive there at approximately 7:00 p.m.
The rally will feature the UConn football team and head coach Bob Diaco, plus the UConn Marching Band and the UConn cheerleaders. Joe D’Ambrosio, the Voice of the Huskies, from the UConn IMG Sports Radio Network, will emcee the event.
