The 2009 NBA All-Star starters have been announced and Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics has been voted in as a starter for the Eastern Conference. The NBA All-Star Game will take place on February 15th in Phoenix, AZ.

Western Conference:

- G Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
- F Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs
- F Amare Stoudemire, Phoenix Suns
- C Yao Ming, Houston Rockets
Dwight Howard led all voters with a record 3,150,181 votes. The 7 reserves for each side will be voted on by the coaches and be announced on TNT next Thursday, January 29th.
