Here are the highlights of the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team’s 68-63 win over the Georgetown Hoyas on Sunday afternoon in the Sweet 16 at The Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA .
It’s the third win over Hoyas this season for UConn as they now await the winner of the Duke Blue Devils/DePaul Blue Demons game currently being played for the right to go to the 2011 NCAA Women’s Final Four in Indianapolis, IN. That game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
